Rockfan Beta 1.7.01 (10.31.2009)

Download Here!

After 2 solid weeks of good development, the game has successfully moved on to the Beta stage and is no longer considered an Alpha. Congrats Acedia! Soon, we plan on expanding the forums and getting the game to be self-sustaining where we will have a growing community, as well as circulating game modifications. However, that is all part of the beta stage, and we are still working to iron out details to keep the game to a high quality level. With that being said, changes will be made consistently, and not everything seen will be permanent. Feel free to leave questions and comments regarding the game, as well as any bug reports.

Hope you enjoy!

i made better flames for the game. but it also appears that the faster the flames appear and dissapeer, the more exciting and fun it is.
so acedia, when i give you the new flames, i ask of you to add .8 to the alpharate

lol... 'exciting and fun' for flames :P

It is true though, back in the day of Guitar Zero (original) I made a few particle mods that sped up the flames and stuff, it really did look a lot better. I'd like to see when you get the chance on Xfire.

umm I installed it and ran it right when click it to start it says Rockfan has stopped working. Ive tried repairing it when I run the installer but didn't work. I was able to run alphas perfectly. I have windows vista with the Rockfan Beta 1.7.01
but I don't think I have shaders 2.0

Currently the Shader Support hasn't been implemented so your in the clear with that. You should download XNA 3.1 redistributable, which can be found on google, a link to the pre-requisite will be uploaded here shortly.
